Fox announced the beginning of American Idol Jan. 12. The Audition Round ends Feb. 3. The Hollywood Round starts Feb. 9 to determine the semifinalists, 12 female and 12 male contestants. It continues until Feb. 17. Finally, the show ends March 17 presenting the real IDOL.

Victoria Beckham, Mary J. Blige, Kristin Chenoweth, Neil Patrick Harris, Joe Jonas, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, and Shania Twain judge the audition.
